With over 15 years of combined experience in live DJing and emcee work, Hi-Society Entertainment approaches each event with professionalism and style, treating every occasion with the same care and attention to detail as if it were our own.
Jonathan Holmes and Thomas Wright like to think of themselves as the alternative to a big company's "available DJ of the night." We’re not the guy that spends too much time on the mic coaxing guests to dance or playing with props. For us, it’s about planning and creatively executing the music that will forever be a part of the most important moments in life.
Sure, it's about class. Of course, it's about having an amazing time. But most importantly, it's about ensuring the night is tailored to the unique vision of each client.

For nearly a decade, Jon Holmes has been performing as a DJ at events all over the northeast. His career began in 1998 at Haverford College, developing his skills while earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts and Education. At 29, Jon has mastered the artful blending of songs to create a seamless soundscape from the first guest's arrival to the last dance of the night. Jon's diverse knowledge of pop, dance, motown, hip-hop, jazz, and acid jazz music makes him an extremely versatile DJ who can keep the crowd moving.

Tom Wright is a long-time musician, having performed hundreds of gigs around the New Jersey tri-state area. Since 2001, the 30-year-old has been honing his microphone work in the public-speaking field, hosting many business and private affairs. Additionally, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and is pursuing a Graduate Certificate in Organizational Leadership. Tom is proud to feature his musical expertise about the swing era, the standards, pop of the 80s and 90s, indie, punk, and all other incarnations of rock music in an effort to best customize your event.
